HubSpot's Spring Spotlight has landed, and this year's release is one of the more substantial ones in recent memory, with over 99 product updates. From AI-powered prospecting to smarter call routing, here are Avidly APAC's top 7 product updates from Spring Spotlight.
The latest product updates show a clear direction of travel: more useful AI, better customer context, and less manual work for teams trying to move faster without losing control. Based on the updates shared, the biggest changes are not just about adding more AI features. They are about making HubSpot more connected, more actionable, and more practical for sales, marketing, and ops teams using it day to day.
What’s been added or changed
HubSpot has expanded its AI ecosystem by introducing connectors for tools including Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot. This allows teams to bring HubSpot CRM context into the AI tools they are already using day to day.
The feature
Users can access CRM data, ask questions, generate insights, draft follow-up content, and in some cases take light actions such as creating or updating records and logging activity, all without needing to jump back into HubSpot for every step.
What this means for HubSpot users
This makes AI more practical in real workflows. Instead of using AI in isolation, teams can use it with customer and pipeline context attached. That means better answers, more relevant outputs, and less context switching between platforms. For businesses trying to embed AI into everyday work, this is a meaningful step forward.
What’s been added or changed
HubSpot’s hosted MCP server is now generally available, giving developers a secure way to connect HubSpot CRM data to MCP-compatible AI tools.
The feature
This allows AI tools, agents, and third-party applications to read and write to HubSpot through natural language interactions, with structured and permission-aware access. It also removes the need for businesses to build and maintain this infrastructure themselves.
What this means for HubSpot users
For technical teams, this opens up more flexibility in how HubSpot can connect with the wider AI ecosystem. It means customer context can power more custom AI workflows, while still being governed within HubSpot’s environment. For businesses exploring AI agents and custom use cases, this is a strong foundation.
What’s been added or changed
Prospecting Agent has evolved into more of an end-to-end outbound agent. It can now identify companies showing buying signals, source contacts, and generate personalised outreach.
The feature
The agent can monitor for signals such as hiring, growth, funding, and intent, then recommend relevant contacts from either the CRM or connected third-party providers like ZoomInfo, Apollo, or Surfe. It can also draft outreach and calling tasks to support reps.
What this means for HubSpot users
This update helps reduce the manual workload that often slows sales teams down. Rather than spending hours researching accounts and contacts before doing any actual outreach, reps can act on more relevant opportunities faster. It is still dependent on third-party data quality and integrations, but it pushes Prospecting Agent much closer to being a genuinely useful sales assistant.
What’s been added or changed
HubSpot has expanded its Reddit capabilities across a set of related updates that make the channel far more actionable inside the platform. Earlier updates brought Reddit publishing, replying, and performance tracking into HubSpot’s Social tool, along with Social Insights to surface relevant conversations about your brand, competitors, and category. Now, HubSpot has extended that further through AEO, helping marketers identify Reddit threads worth engaging in and generate AI-drafted replies directly within HubSpot for review and posting.
The feature
On the social management side, users can now publish posts to Reddit communities from HubSpot, reply to comments on their own Reddit posts from the Reply tab, and track performance, including comments and post scores, alongside other social channels. Social Insights also gives teams visibility into Reddit conversations happening around their brand and competitors, helping them monitor engagement trends, sentiment, share of voice, and discussion themes without relying on separate listening tools.
The newer AEO update takes this a step further. HubSpot’s Answer Engine Optimisation tool now identifies Reddit threads where your industry and competitors are being discussed, and recommends which conversations may be worth joining. From there, users can click View conversation in social to open the full thread in HubSpot’s social inbox, where they can see the original post, top comments, and subreddit context. HubSpot then generates a suggested reply in the reply panel using the post content, the existing discussion, subreddit norms, and the brand name set in the user’s AEO profile. That draft can then be reviewed, edited, and posted from a connected Reddit account, all without leaving HubSpot.
What this means for HubSpot users
This makes Reddit much more usable for marketing teams already operating in HubSpot. Instead of manually searching Reddit, interpreting whether a thread is worth engaging in, learning subreddit expectations, and drafting a response from scratch, marketers can now move from recommendation to response in one workflow. That matters because Reddit is often where buyers ask candid questions, compare products, and form opinions, but it has traditionally been difficult for brands to engage authentically and efficiently.
HubSpot’s approach also reflects the reality of how Reddit works. Suggested replies are designed to align more closely with Reddit norms by prioritising helpfulness, disclosing brand affiliation clearly, and avoiding overly promotional language or unnecessary links. For HubSpot users, that means Reddit is no longer just a place to observe conversations. It is becoming a more measurable, manageable, and genuinely actionable channel for both audience insight and brand participation.
What’s been added or changed
HubSpot has introduced Workflow CRM Property Restore, allowing admins to undo CRM property changes made by workflows within the last 14 days.
The feature
Built on HubSpot’s Unified Data Backup and Restore system, this feature lets teams restore values changed by workflows without manually exporting, filtering, or repairing records one by one. Access to the Unified Data Backup and Restore public beta is also required.
What this means for HubSpot users
This is a particularly valuable update for ops teams and CRM admins. Workflows are powerful, but when mistakes happen, they can affect large volumes of data very quickly. Having a way to roll back workflow-driven property changes reduces risk, saves time, and gives teams more confidence to improve and iterate on automation.
Taken together, these updates show HubSpot continuing to invest in three important areas: AI utility, connected customer context, and safer automation. For HubSpot users, that means less friction between systems, more practical ways to use AI, and stronger support for the day-to-day work of managing growth, outreach, and CRM operations.
