Avidly APAC Achieves ISO 27001:2022 Certification

Avidly APAC Achieves ISO 27001:2022 Certification

Avidly APAC is proud to share that we are now ISO 27001:2022 certified. This is a milestone we have worked hard to achieve over the past few months, and one that reflects the commitment we have to approach the security of our clients' information.

The certification was awarded following a rigorous independent audit of our Information Security Management System (ISMS), confirming that our security policies, processes, and controls meet the requirements of the world's leading information security standard.

So what is ISO 27001:2002?

ISO 27001:2022 is the latest iteration of the international standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), published by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). It provides a structured, risk-based framework for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an organisation's approach to managing sensitive information.

The '2022' edition represents the most current version of the standard and introduces updated controls that reflect the evolving landscape of information security threats and technology.

Certification is only granted after an accredited, independent auditor has verified that an organisation's ISMS meets the standard's requirements across all relevant domains, including:

  • Information risk identification, assessment, and treatment

  • Policies and controls governing data confidentiality, integrity, and availability

  • Incident detection, response, and recovery procedures

  • Supplier and third-party security management

  • Ongoing monitoring, internal audit, and management review

  • Continual improvement of the ISMS

What does this mean for our clients?

Our clients trust us with sensitive information, proprietary strategies, and data that is central to their business.

Here is what our certification means:

  • Your data is protected by a certified, audited information security management system.

  • We have documented risk management processes in place to identify and address vulnerabilities proactively.

  • Our teams operate under clear, enforceable security policies and receive ongoing training to uphold them.

  • In the event of a security incident, we have defined response and recovery procedures ready to be activated without delay.

  • We undergo annual surveillance audits and full recertification every three years, so our standards are maintained continuously, not just at the point of initial certification.
